so I tried to look like ellie from a game picture. i don't have the picture of her. i feel like i should of let my mom or someone else take the photo.
I am advertising makeup and hot topic. I used my friends eye and I went to town on the makeup aspect, but I am crap at photographing makeup. I like my hot topic add the most because all the things in the picture are from hot topic annnnnnnnnd I think it looks more formal, yet grungy at the same time. I could of done better but i also could of done worse.
I tried to keep these pictures a bit darker and I used the grey scale for most of them, however I kept the filter at the 50% mark so you can see faint color. I tried to get people in some of them, and then I tried to make a more abandoned look in the barn picture. We went through Traverse City and I snapped the statue of Lincoln and the pretty trees. I didn't tell the people to pose either, or that i even took the picture, but I posed for one while I had the timed camera on. My favorite is the barn, but I don't know if that is the best example. Perhaps the one with the man walking out of a store is the best.
Well, it is hard for me to capture mood because I really don't like understand how to be moody in a photo, but I think the teddy bear photo is the best. It wouldn't let me flip the photo up right though. The other ones are just lame photos of sadness, sadness is easy to impersonate so I went with it. My cat is just here to brighten the mood and be cute.
So my favorite out of all of these is my old cats eye ball, it is crisp and just a good picture. I was trying to get cool pictures of my dog, I considered getting on her level but they looked bad. My old cat lemmy is the star of the show in the bottom right corner, I put a filter over it to make the lighting look better. The snake was in Pet Smart, and I like snakes sooooo I snapped a shot. I think that these are all decent photos though.
In this picture I feel like my house, the ground, and the tree frame the sky. The second picture is from a concert and our heads and the black above the curtain is kind of a frame. The third one is a picture of my legs when I was a twig, it is a bad photo but the mirror frames it. The last picture is at an abandoned house on the balcony. I was looking into the window and the window is kind of a frame, but Weebly cut off a little of the left side of the picture.
In the selective coloring process you have to first pic a picture, then zoom in on what you would like too re-color.(I did a little blueberry) Click the lasso tool in the corner then start tracing the outline of what you want to color, after that go to Adjustment and click on hue & saturation, then you can change the color by sliding the button left or right.
The selective coloring process using layers and the eraser tool can be done by picking a picture, finding a focus point, adding a second layer, then changing the saturation to -100. after the saturation is changed you can use the eraser tool to bring back the color that was washed out. I prefer the second method because it looks better. This cute little squirrel came up to me and I saw a lot of texture in this, so I thought I would use it. It is supposed to be focused on the squirrel. I like this picture because he is cute and I feel like I did a good job at taking it before he hopped away.
